While the average sales price for metro Denver has remained relatively consistent at $269,000 since July 2010, number of homes sold dropped from July 2010. In August total number of homes sold was 2987, where in July 3151 homes sold.
On the plus side, the average sales price has increased 8% in comparison to this time 2009. Another increase in the housing market in Denver is the million dollar plus inventory. total properties sold this year, compared to 2009 is up 22.3%.
With mortgage rates at all time lows, buyers have a wonderful advantage right now.
