For a winter month, December turned out all right for real estate in the Denver metro area. Average price dropped $5k from November, but the number of homes sold actually increased. Year over year, the average sales price rose 7% compared to 2009, while the number of homes sold dropped 7.5%. Considering what the rest of the nation looked like, Denver did okay.
