February 2011 Denver Real Estate Statistics are here

If nothing more sticks in my mind than what I learned or heard at last week’s Colorado Housing Summit at the Realtor Rally was this message:
Now is the time to buy, and it is our job as Realtors to get that point out!
Rates are still great, but creaping up. The average sales price is slowly increasing. If you were waiting for the “bottom”, it seems to have hit and is now slowly recovering.

The number of properties sold increased over January, as well at the average sales price. The average sales price in the Denver Metro area for February 2011 was $255,000. (January 2011 it was $254,000.) The sales prices have also increased in comparison to last years figures.
The number of properties sold in February 2011 was 2261, in January it was 2151.

It’s turning out to be an exciting year in real estate in the Denver Metro area!
