For the 7th month in a row, the total number of properties sold was up in the Denver Metro area in comparison to the same time the year before. In December, the number of properties sold was up 4.8%. For the year to date, the number of properties sold was up 2.8%. The average sales price was $254,000. In Dec 2010, that number was $254,000. The number of active listings is still INCREDIBLY low compared to the year before. The number of properties active in Dec was 10993, down 39.8%! Interest rates are still incredibly low. If you are in the market to buy, or thinking of selling your home, now is a great time – alot less competition. I am seeing the average number of days on market really low in some neighborhoods, even less than 30 days! Contact me for more information.
