WE NEED INVENTORY! I don’t think Denver agents can sing this song enough these days. Just look at the numbers. In February, there were 2967 properties sold, but only 6786 Active listings. This same time last year, there were 10086 homes on the market. Our total number of properties continues to climb from the previous month and same time last year. Prices are increasing, with the average sale price at $277,000 (up 11.3% year to date compared to 2012). Buyers are out there looking for properties to buy, and finding themselves not only moving quickly, but competing if they want to find a home. And why not?
