*** The Denver Metro Real Estate Statistics are Out for June 2013 ***

Typical June in the Denver market, except on fast forward! Buyers still getting  low mortgage rates are still finding themselves having to make a quick decision. Often times in a competing situation, submitting their “highest & best” offer first, in order to impress the seller. Although our inventory in Denver was actually up for the first time in months, we are still sitting at less than two months worth of inventory in Denver at the current selling pace.
Looking back historically, this year there were 9187 active listings on the market. Just 3 years ago in June 2010 there were 22,689! wow.

Although rates did a bit of increase toward the end of June, they seem to have settled back a bit.  They are still very competitive!
The average sales price for June 2013 was $319,000 and the total number of properties sold was 5566. Our market is doing great, but we as Realtors are still looking for more listing inventory. If you would like a free market analysis, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
