Here’s a look at what happened in the Denver real estate market in 2019.
Whew! What a ride 2019 was for the real estate market. Overall, all numbers were up. Including inventory, which was a much needed relief from 2018.
- Average sales price for the year was up 3.4% to 2018
- Active inventory was up 14.4% to 2018
- Days on market went up 19.6% to 2018 (went to 42 average in Dec)
- Total properties sold went up 4.1% to 2018
We had a few hiccup months (Jan March June) where sales were actually less than same time 2018, however the other months made up for it. We are seeing properties on the market longer, however it is still definately a sellers market. The average sales price continues to creep each month.
